Wild At Heart (British TV Series)
''Wild at Heart'' is a British television drama series created by Ashley Pharoah about a veterinary surgeon and his family, who emigrate from Bristol to South Africa, where they attempt to rehabilitate a game reserve for wild animals and establish a veterinary surgery and animal hospital. The show was broadcast on ITV for seven series beginning on 29 January 2006 and ending on 30 December 2012. History ''Wild at Heart'' began airing 29 January 2006 on ITV. It ran for seven series, concluding 30 December 2012 with a two-hour finale. It was filmed on location at the Glen Afric Country Lodge, a 1500-acre game reserve and sanctuary that is home to a host of African wildlife, including lions, giraffes, elephants and cheetahs. Ashley Pharoah
Ashley Pharoah (born 13 September 1959) is a British screenwriter and television producer. He is best known as the co-creator/writer of the successful drama series ''Life on Mars'', which began on BBC One in 2006, and creator/writer of the family drama '' Wild at Heart'', which aired on ITV1 from 2006 until 2012. Early life was born in Southampton but grew up in Nailsea, North Somerset. He attended Waycroft Junior School in Stockwood and continued at Queen Elizabeth's Hospital, an independent school in Bristol. studied at the University of Sussex and the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield in the 1980s. His graduation film ''Water's Edge'' was nominated for a BAFTA. Broederstroom is a small town situated on the Daspoortrand in the foothills of the Magaliesberg mountains in the North West Province (South Africa), North West Province of South Africa. Warner TV is a pay television channel mainly airing in Latin America, Europe, parts of South Asia and Southeast Asia, which is owned by Warner Bros. Skai TV (Greek: ΣΚΑΪ) is a Greek free-to-air television network based in Piraeus. It is part of the Skai Group, one of the largest media groups in the country. It was relaunched in its present form on 1 April 2006 in the Athens metropolitan area, and gradually spread its coverage nationwide.
